All these units are made using the same process: casting in one epoxy resin piece, which is highly resistant to vibration while being compact and lightweight.
This kind of ring type CT is specially studied to be mounted around the insulated bushings of transformers or alternators. Several dimensions are available in order to fulfil every requirement depending on the size of the bushings and the required features of each core.
The combine unit is made up of 1 CT and 1VT in the same casted body. It saves a lot of space and time during installation. However, its specifications are limited by its size and it is usually used for revenue metering applications.
