The PIN INSULATOR COVER is used to permit the operator to reduced the distance between his working area and the bare conductive parts covered by the protective covers. It is fixed onto the two conductor cover, on which it rests, and is above the pin insulator.
It can also be used to avoid accidental contact with items which have different potential.
The insulation is guaranteed for the most part by the band of air which is created by the assembly of the covers.
The presence of an insulator equipped with a clamp or a binding wire attachment does not reduce the amount of protection. In all cases, the presence of accessories near the insulator, which project more than 40 mm on the conductor, annuls the usage of this cover.

The CableTroll 210 is a fault current detector for the underground medium voltage distribution network (6-36kV). It is used to detect earth faults according to the functional principles in chapter 3. It can be installed on most types of cable terminations and suitable for use in tropical weather conditions with high humidity of 65% to 95%. The CableTroll 210 will indicate earth faults locally by a flashing diode, and remotely through a relay contact.
The FDP-15 can be used as a radio interface to a collector or fault indicator when sending configuration data to the unit.
FDP-15 have also a memory where parameters for different types of fault indicators and collectors can be stored. The memory can store one set of parameters for one type of field device of the following type;

The ComTroll 155 is our standard remote terminal unit (RTU) for motorized switchgear and reclosers, as well as actuators for overhead line switches.
CableTroll 2330 is an indicator for detection of earth faults (PtG) and short circuit (PtP) faults on multi and single core cable terminations. The unit uses NorTroll type current sensors.
The CableTroll indicators are fault current detectors for the underground medium voltage distribution network (6-36kV). Directional Fault Detector With Build-in RTU IPC4020 is a fault detector for overcurrent and earth faults with integrated remote terminal unit functionality. It has I/O for indications and orders and is therefore suitable for a typical secondary substation with up to four objects. The standard IPC4020 detects faults on one feeder. It can be ordered with an expansion module that allows fault detection of 2 additional feeders.
